The Problem–
At the time I joined the team, Cover Your Assets had already gone through 2 different website designers and weren't fully satisfied with their online presence. It was functioning and served their basic needs but was lacking connection, strong branding, visual hierarchy, and misplaced information. With their goal of attracting more clientele and providing more information about the firm, I redesigned and restructured their website to better fit their needs.
My Role–
Sole Web Designer, UX Designer, Content Designer, Website Manager
Redesign Goals–
✦ Improve overall user experience
✦ Give company personality
✦ Cohesive branding
✦ Concise but informative content
✦ Modernize visual identity
DESIGN APPROACH
Prior to getting my hands dirty, I did my own personal audit from from the perspective of not only a designer, but also a prospective client. Questions I asked myself while clicking through the existing website:
Are the services of the company clearly stated?
✦
Does the navigation of the website feel straight forward?
✦
Does the language and imagery feel representative of the company's personality?
✦
How does the website make me feel?
✦
I then connected with the Cover Your Assets team to get a feel for if my personal thoughts and audits aligned with their pain points and future vision for the website. Once I had a thorough understanding of their perspective, I restructured the website's navigation in a more intuitive format.

INITIAL WEBSITE vs. FINAL PRODUCT
*As I am the current ongoing website manager as of June 2026, the website is subject to change as there are ongoing updates to be posted, and therefore may not be an identical reflection of live website*
